Phil and I have been blessed to have traveled to many countries outside the United States, and one of our very favorite locations is Venice, Italy, and any season of the year! It's wonderfully romantic!

While I have taken hundreds of photos in Venice, here are four pictures, three of them being sights synonymous with Venice.

The first one is of the Santa Maria della Salute Church with its recognizable dome in the center of the photo (and out in the water). I took this shot from the balcony of our hotel room when we stayed at the Hotel Danieli, which is a beautifully restored palace.

Oh, I love this picture! I was delighted to capture three gondoliers as they stood chatting on the steps of one of the many bridges that span the canals of Venice.

Gondolas "parked" along the waterways of Venice.

This last photo - Venice at sunset, taken from a tour boat that took us to Burano, one of the many small islands that surround Venice. Burano is famous for gorgeous hand-made lace.
